Rationale for revision
In reviewing 802.1Qbg, which adds a new Edge Relay component type, it was noted that there was
no text covering T-component creation and no corresponding enumeration value in the
ieee8021BridgeBaseComponentType object in the IEEE8021-BRIDGE-MIB.
Proposed text
1) Add clause 17.5.2.x covering T-component creation
2) Add an emumeration value for "tComponent" in IEEE8021-BRIDGE-MIB object ieee8021BridgeBaseComponentType
Impact on existing networks
Adding material covering dynamic creation of T-components should not affect existing conformant
implementations since there is no text currently covering this subject. If there are implementations
that used the "next available" value in ieee8021BridgeBaseComponentType for T-component that value may
be allocated instead to the EVB Edge Relay component type.
