Requested revision
Standard:IEEE 802.1Q-2018Clause:17.7.14 and 17.7.22
Clause title:Definitions for the IEEE8021-SRP-MIB module and Definitions for the IEEE8021-ST-MIB module
Rationale for revision
IEEE8021-SRP-MIB does not fully comply with SMIv2 (see RFC 2578). According to SMIv2: - table index objects shall be defined with MAX-ACCESS value "not-accessible", and - table index objects must not be members of GROUPs. IEEE8021-ST-MIB with copy-and-paste typo.
Proposed text
(1) IEEE8021-SRP-MIB: ieee8021SrpReservationPreloadDirection OBJECT-TYPE SYNTAX IEEE8021SrpReservationDirectionValue MAX-ACCESS read-write not-accessible ... (2) IEEE8021-SRP-MIB: ieee8021SrpReservationsPreloadGroup OBJECT-GROUP OBJECTS { ieee8021SrpReservationsPreloadStreamId, ieee8021SrpReservationPreloadDirection, ieee8021SrpReservationPreloadAccumulatedLatency } ... (3) IEEE8021-SRP-MIB: ieee8021SrpStreamsPreloadGroup OBJECT-GROUP OBJECTS { ieee8021SrpStreamPreloadId, ieee8021SrpStreamPreloadDestinationAddress, ... } (4) IEEE8021-ST-MIB: -- ============================================================= -- IEEE8021 FQTSS ST MIB - Conformance Information -- =============================================================
Impact on existing networks
None - table index objects cannot be accessed by SNMP get/put operation, - typo is in a comment section.
