Clause title:PSFPGateControlEntry
Rationale for revision
The parameter intervalOctetMax, present in Table 8-4 as an optional parameter
for the operation SetGateAndIPV, is missing from the listed parameters associated
with that operation in Clause 12.31.3.2.2.
Proposed text
Create an IntervalOctetMaxValue:
 
“12.21.3.2.5 PSFPIntervalOctetMaxValue: An unsigned integer, denoting a
IntervalOctetMax in MSDU octets (see IntervalOctetMax in Table 8-4).”
 
Add intervalOctetMax to Clause 12.31.3.2.2 with the following text:
 
“A PSFPGateControlEntry consists of an operation name, followed by four parameters
associated with the operation, as detailed in Table 8-4. The first parameter is a
PSFPgateStatesValue (12.31.3.2.1); the second parameter is an IPV value (12.31.3.2.3);
the third parameter is a timeIntervalValue (12.31.3.2.4), and the fourth parameter is
an IntervalOctetMaxValue (12.31.3.2.5). IntervalOctetMaxValue is optional.”
Impact on existing networks
There might be implementations not supporting the parameter IntervalOctetMax.
