Rationale for revision
The BMCA conformance requirements of 5.4.1 f) 1) should also cite 10.3.1.1 (General subclause of 10.3.1, Best master clock selection and external port configuration overview) and 10.3.1.2 (Best master clock algorithm overview). Note that this accounts for a subclause renumbering due to insertion of the heading General during the IEEE editing process to prevent hanging text under 10.3.1).
Proposed text
In 5.4.1 f) 1), replace “Implement the BMCA (10.3.2, 10.3.3, 10.3.4, 10.3.5, 10.3.6, 10.3.8, and 10.3.10).” by “Implement the BMCA (10.3.1.1, 10.3.1.2, 10.3.2, 10.3.3, 10.3.4, 10.3.5, 10.3.6, 10.3.8, and 10.3.10).”
