Rationale for revision
The abbreviation "CID" is expanded as "Company Identifier". The footnote, and other usage in the standard, make apparent that the reference is to the identifier assigned by the IEEE Registration Authority, which uses the name "Company ID" and never "Company Identifier". The standard uses each version three times. The three instances of "Company Identifier" should be replaced with "Company ID".

Change "Company Identifier" to "Company ID" in three places:
