Rationale for revision
IEEE Std 802.20-2008 is an Inactive-Withdrawn Standard, part of the IEEE 802.20 family comprising related (i) Inactive-Withdrawn Standards IEEE 802.20a-2010, IEEE Std 802.20.2-2010, IEEE 802.20.3-2010, and (ii) IEEE Std 802.20b-2010. The electronic distribution of IEEE 802 LAN/MAN Standards through the IEEE 802 LAN/MAN Standards Committee assumes, as I do, that IEEE Std 802.20b-2010 also is an Inactive-Withdrawn Standard (its Status at https://standards.ieee.org/ieee/802.20b/4564/ is Superseded Standard, likely in error as no URL is provided to any superseding standard).
Proposed text
Delete the reference to IEEE Std 802.20 in clause 2. Delete the entry for IEEE Std 802.20 in table 5-1. Delete subclause 13.5 in its entirety and renumber subsequent subclauses of clause 13 accordingly.
Impact on existing networks
Existing IEEE 802.20 networks would not be able to claim conformance to the resulting revision of IEEE Std 802.1AC.
