Discussion took us to a modified option 2 solution where we include text on the order of, "If DE is used to determine color, the color mode is determined as follows...". There would also need to be a PICs entry that would allow implementations to specify how they support this. Next step is to review potential text for these areas of Q. |

The text after item j) should be something to the nature of, "If DE is used to determine color, the color mode is determined as follows:
k) If the drop_eligibile parameter is FALSE, the color is
green.
l) If the drop_eligibile parameter is TRUE, the color is
yellow."
PICs entrie(s) should be added to A.7. Work with Norm, Mick and Johannas to craft the exact words for the PICs. Likely to be more than one PICs entry (e.g do you use DE (yes, no) and can the system use other inputs to assign color). Only in Annex A, not Annex B as well.
Conformance items in 5.4 and 5.13 will also be required. The text of this also should be developed under consultation with Mick, Norm and Johannas.
The change will either be done by Qcr or Qcz depending on the action of other maintenance items.

Offline discussion prior to the conference call resulted in the proposed solution documented in: http://www.ieee802.org/1/files/public/docs2020/maint-specht-item246-edit-changes-0220-v01.pdf. The group agreed to the proposal with two minor changes. Fix the spelling of eligible in the text and add the identifier for supplemental information to the Support column by changing "Algorithm" to "A1:Algorithm". The use of Ai is described in the PICs boilerplate. The group agreed that Qcz should be the vehicle to include this change. |
