The requestor agreed to discuss this at the next Maintenance conference call on June 29th, 2021 using a future focused contribution. The current proposed formula in the proposed resolution needs to be updated based on discussions related to P802.1DG in TSN. |

Contribution https://www.ieee802.org/1/files/public/docs2021/dg-turner-Qschedules-0621-v05.pdf was discussed in the context of the maintenance request. It was agreed that a full change to include support for the Time Aware Shaper (TAS) is beyond the project need for BA-Rev and would delay the revision. It was also agreed that a note could be added to BA-Rev that indicates the current formula does not take into account TAS. The specific text of the note will be developed with the maintenance requestor and used to respond to a ballot comment against BA-Rev/d1.0. |
