2021-11-15 8 Nov 2021 Plenary Agreed that the point at which OperIPV is set to AdminIPV is unclear. The List Execute state machine in Figure 8-17 is not always used, so creating a new Initialize() function for this figure would not necessarily be a complete fix. One fundamental issue that was agreed is that OperIPV should NOT be a RW object as specified in Table 12-36 of Qcr. OperIPV should be Read-Only. One potential easy fix is to add text to OperIPV that indicates when to AdminIPV is set, OperIPV is updated. From the chat windows: Consider the following proposal Proposal (just for the initialization part): In, replace "The initial value of OperIPV is set equal to the value of the AdminIPV variable (" to "The value of OperIPV is set equal to the value of the AdminIPV variable ( whenever the AdminIPV variable is written by management." Separately, it was identified that we need to consider if text in or related to also needs to be updated to consider the initialization of PSFPOperGateStates. 2022-01-21 17 Jan 2022 Interim After further review it appears that a simple fix to the issue would be to set OperIPV = AdminIPV in the CONFIG state of Figure 8-18—List Config state machine. The machine is held in the CONFIG state if the List State machines are not used, thus OperIPV will always be set to whatever AdminIPV is. If the state machines are used, then it will be updated when the other values are updated. We may also consider including the assignment in the INIT state of Figure 8-17—List Execute state machine, but this may not be necessary. NOTE that the changes need to be considered as applied to the Q-Rev/D1.02 or D1.02 state machines. The earlier state machines probably would not work, as the Oper Variables are not updated when gates are not enabled. Technical experts review
