Rationale for revision
This clause presents a small bulleted list with the entities responsible for the transmission of the protocol messages used in TSN configuration, namely Request done by End station or CUC, Response by Bridge or CNC. The explanation in that bulleted list may lead the reader to misunderstanding as it does not make clear that: * In a fully centralized model, such Requests can only be done by the CUC (not by an End station) * In a fully centralized model, such Responses can only be done by the CNC (not by a Bridge)
Proposed text
The bulleted list should read as: - Request: CUC (in fully distributed model) or End station (otherwise) transmits a protocol message that contains a Talker or Listener group. - Response: CNC (in fully distributed model) or Bridge (otherwise) transmits a protocol message that contains a Status group.
Impact on existing networks
The proposed change targets at clarifying the described principles
and therefore the proposed change is not expected to impact any existing
functionality.
