It was agreed to replace the last sentence in 8.6.11.3.13 with a sentence that maintains a description of the reason for the parameter, but does not imply that this value is the only reason for limiting a frame residence within a Bridge. The following text was proposed, "The parameter limits the duration for which frames can reside in a Bridge in the sense that <<ATS Eligibility Time Assignment>> will drop the frame prior to being queued (8.6.7)." This text requires further review. The part in <<>> and the clause reference need to be checked. |

Ongoing email exchanges with state holders fine tuned the proposed replacement sentence. The following recommendation is being made, "The parameter limits the duration for which frames can reside in a Bridge in the sense that ATS eligibility time assignment (8.6.5.6) immediately discards all frames with an eligibility time further in the future than defined by this parameter. " |
