Re-evaluate based on slide 38 in the presentation referenced above.
YANGsters would like to understand the plan for implementation of item 393 and discuss the pros/cons of the following options:
1. Doing nothing – leaving the YANG the way it currently is.
2. Keep the existing implementation and also implement -v2 modules
3. Keep the existing implementation (and deprecate the uses that are being moved) and also implement -v2 modules
4. Integrate -v2 solution into the existing YANG
Constraints: Try to have minimal impact/change on the existing YANG. Maintain backward compatibility.
Once the four options have been discussed and a recommendation has been made in YANGsters, the maintenance item will be revisited. |
